Erasmus+ Sport
Project Details
Description
The ScoreWomen project, coordinated by AIforlives and funded by the EU as an Erasmus+ Sport project, focuses on the challenges faced by female referees and aims to enhance their stress management and decision-making skills. Specifically targeting female referees who work in amateur leagues and are new to the profession, the project offers a training program that simulates real match conditions through advanced technologies and digital training content. In collaboration with three partners from Spain, Portugal, and Germany, the project aligns with the overall objectives of the Erasmus+ programme to combat sexist stereotypes, improve the practice of football among women and girls, and promote social inclusion and equal opportunities. It will develop emotional, social, technical, and tactical skills, empowering female referees to perform more safely and effectively on the field. Additionally, the project supports training for female managers and leaders, fostering collaboration, quality, creativity, and innovation within sports organizations.
